CCAR's Work over the Past Year

Last year, CCAR’s co-founder Amanda Savitt helped produce this case study report with Headwaters Economics about how five Midwestern communities have reduced their flood risk through a variety of mitigation strategies.

Amanda Savitt and Samantha Montano also published a paper about the categorization of COVID-19 for the Social Science Research Council.

Drs. Savitt and Montano were also involved in the Emergency Management and Policy Analysis in a Pandemic Working Group through the CONVERGE Program at University of Colorado Boulder’s Natural Hazards Center.
